Welcome to the Radiance Center where our motto is

LIVING TO LOVE AND LOVING TO LIVE.

WE LIVE TO LOVE because we must… because we are hardwired to love, and it feels great when we do and awful when we don’t. Loving, even when there is no justification, tunes us up and turns us on. And… no matter how logical our excuses, blocking the flow of love leaves us exhausted, irritable, angry or depressed.

WE LOVE TO LIVE because we are designed to celebrate the perfection of Life even before we remember our own perfection. We are exquisite beings learning to hold more and more love, more and more joy.

Here at the Radiance Center we celebrate the truth that Love wants to flow through us… not just “spiritually correct” love, but integrated, spiritual, passionate, human, down in the body love that honors both, the easy and the difficult, the Divine and the very, very human.

Please allow me the honor of introducing you to our ohana (Hawaiian for family) by telling you the

Top Ten Reasons I Love the Radiance Center

1. I love the Radiance Center because of our willingness to celebrate all phases and levels of our spiritual and physical lives. I love that we refuse to be another new age group of people who pretends to rise above needs and desires…

And, even as we are honoring our very human feelings, we are consciously refusing to allow our stories to define or limit us. We are returning to our original divinity by way of our humanity.

2. I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER even more because we are so bound together by love that we often cannot determine who are the so called broken ones and who are the therapists, the healers, the teachers. I love that the therapists know that they come for counseling and the healers intentionally ask for healing, and the teachers seek to be taught. I love that the addicts, and the dying, and the ones whose minds sometimes spin out of this agreed upon reality… I love that they spend most of their time here giving their gifts…Listening, holding, healing, loving.

3. I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because we are called to be our most courageous selves.

We are nailed to the present moment and are committed to staying in that moment until we receive its gift. We are not allowed to blame others for our unhappiness, and we are not allowed to dismiss others because they mirror our own unhappiness. Instead, we are called to Stillness…

4. I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because we are all races, all persuasions (including sexual), all religions… and none.

There is no dogma. There are no rules. There is no exclusion. There is only Love. We each try very hard not to know the correct path because there is never only one correct path. All roads and all experiences lead us home. We are learning to remember that we are each crippled… each crazy… each brilliant… each addicted… each perfect and each Divine.

5. I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because we honor the perfection of what is.

We know the value of celebrating the present moment with all its triumphs, uncertainty, grief, sweetness and pain. We understand that nothing could happen by accident. We understand that no one steps onto our path without our invitation. We are stunned by the fact that the person who really, really pushes our buttons must be a soul who loves us enough to point out where love is blocked inside us.

6) I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because we serve as living proof that there is a different way to live.

To be in the world… to solve problems and resolve disputes… to support ourselves financially… to be in relationship with one another and with the earth. We can be in the world without selling our souls. We can be completely human… and more. We can be divinely human.

7) I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because we are fed at every possible level.

On Wednesday evenings, we rise up into the blessed and peaceful overview where nothing can touch our clarity or our joy. Then, on Sundays and Thursdays, during our Conversations with Spirit evenings, we come together to share a meal and bring that spiritual overview down into our emotional and physical bodies… down into the sacred details of our lives.

8. I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because my only task is to remind you that you are your own authority, your own Source.

Your clarity allows me to go beyond the stereotypes so that I can give you the antithesis of spiritual teachings about giving up self… disappearing into the Great Mind. You want deep peace AND you want passion. You want living proof that we are all divine… just as we are now… in our bodies. Me too. It’s about learning to live. It’s about holding and expressing mega love in each moment.

9) I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because every time we gather, we are touched by Grace.

I’ve never witnessed anything like this. People come through the door with their dramas stilling clinging to them. Stories ooze out all over the group… We call for silence… The first music swells through the room and through our hearts. “There is so much magnificence.” Suddenly, Stillness descends. It is a peace so deep that it is below words, below concepts. Nothing else exists. Just awe.

10) I LOVE THE RADIANCE CENTER because it is one of the few places on earth where we can love unabashedly for absolutely no reason at all except that it raises our energy into joy.

Loving isn’t necessarily about liking a person’s personality or their actions… That’s never the point. What’s important is that life force continues to flow… and there is no difference between life force and love.
