"Letting go of suffering is the hardest work we will ever do, and among the most fruitful and gratifying. To let go of the pain that had become so familiar that it had become endemic to my identity was to recognize how often I had volunteered for hell." Stephen Levine
"Taking one breath at a time, I began to find my way. That which had so long blocked my heart was breaking down. Meeting with mercy and awareness, rather than continued suppression, those parts of myself lovely and otherwise, I was getting a teaching in opening my heart in hell. I was learning to love by watching how unloving I had been... The hard mind (was) softening into mercy and awareness." Stephen Levine
Tuesday evenings are open to the public. We begin gathering as early as 5:30 p.m. Potluck is at 6 p.m. and the Radiance Class begins at 7 p.m. The Radiance Class is for anyone committed to living a radiant, joyous, meaningful life. Love offerings are gratefully received.
"I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint - and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service." Oprah Winfrey
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (9-5) are closed classes for SOUL: the School of Unconditional Love.
The theme of the winter trimester (January 15-March 6 2008) is Riding the Big Wave. It's about staying centered while running/riding strong energy--whether it is Kundalini, Dark Night, Bliss, or a culture badly out of balance.

"[They] possess an inextinguishable gladness of heart... which persist in mirth without comparison, through every outward hardship and tribulation. They enjoy the high spirits peculiar to high spirituality and shock the world by a playfulness instead of exhibiting the morose resignation which it feels to be proper to the spiritual life...Love raises the spirit above the sphere of reverence and worship into one of laughter... freedom from the taint of solemnity and self importance."
