Because we have lived solely by the blessings of Source for the last thirty years, many of you have asked how you can support the Radiance Center. We encourage giving in any form only when it truly lights you up. We often refer people to Trungpa's teachings on Environmental Generosity in which he reminds us that it is a true blessing when the exchange is so mutual that no one can tell who is the Giver and who is the Receiver. This practice has served us all very well. We live with a deep knowing that the Universe is generous. It is great fun -- as well as a privilege -- to be part of miracles!

And so, only if it adds to your sense of well-being, we invite you to become part of our extraordinary, ordinary, everyday miracles. Here are some of the ways we invite you to share your gifts.

SUPPORTING THE CENTER FINANCIALLY

We are so blessed! The Center is located on three lush acres of precious Maui land with a lovely home which was manifested by absolute faith in a Divine Presence guiding every area of our lives. Love, in so very many forms, is given and received freely. We would never refuse help to those unable to make a donation, However, it is our experience that some kind of exchange leaves everyone involved feeling that they have been of service, as well as more prosperous. We live in a money-based economy, where bills cannot be paid with food (no matter how yummy), hugs (no matter how sweet), or artwork (no matter how beautiful or profound). Therefore, when you support the Radiance Healing Center, know that every donation of money is a blessing that meets many needs--and is tax deductible, since we are an established 501©3 nonprofit public charity.

There are many ways that you can help from a distance:

Make weekly/monthly contributions (sometimes called "tithes")--It is a huge blessing to be able to depend on your ongoing support

Send donations whenever the spirit moves you--these are so much fun! We open the mailbox and suddenly there is enough money to finish a landscaping project, provide scholarships to a SOUL School student, create a parking area before the winter rains begin ...

Legacy gifts--writing the Radiance Healing Institute into your will or donating in honor of a loved one

Reward our dedicated staff member, Sahajo, an amazing and tireless assistant who juggles phone calls, classes, and the myriad of requests and needs that a community of hundreds entails. She loves those who believe they are unlovable and performs one impossible deed after another. Even though she could be making a great salary some place else, she has volunteered here because she believes deeply in our vision. How lucky are we... and we would love to support her on every level..

Spread the word about available CD's and class recordings. This is a double blessing which both spreads the love and supports the Institute.

Help us find grants, individual donors, and investors in the RHC property

Introduce us to your network of friends, business associates, and others who may also want to keep the Center radiating

VOLUNTEERING

Service is yet another way of nourishing both the giver and the receiver.. The Center could not exist in its most radiant form without the ongoing dedication and creativity of so many willing hands and hearts and minds. Some compassionate souls pose as angels who visit disabled or ill members of the community. Others garden in our organic vegetable and flower beds, participate in work parties, mow the yard, clean the house, cook meals for community gatherings, help to install solar panels and/or build decks It is so satisfying (and so much fun!) to make a difference.. Humans need to be of use. We are wired to want to give our gifts and share our talents. We need to shine. What is it that you do so well?   We can promise that you'll be well rewarded with hugs and appreciation and you'll probably even get a good meal from the garden.

ART, MUSIC AND WRITING

An especially exciting new program is the MASTERPEACE project. The talents of artists, musicians and writers are combined to create art and literature that ripples out into the world. We are just beginning to look at the possibilities of how to use art or music to transform the world. Together we could really make a difference. Imagine Radiance Murals on buildings in cities all over the world--painting the world brighter. Imagine music that reconfigures and transforms our bodies and our minds. Imagine a collective of writers who create stories of a world gone radiant. What is your artistic passion?   Share your ideas with us. It is time to create change through beauty, through rhythm, through expressing possibility. We welcome your ideas for how to foster social change through the arts.
